'Hit job': Trump says government should 'come down hard' on 'illegal' activity by MSNBC

Donald Trump on Tuesday evening suggested MSNBC should be hit with government force for its "illegal political activity" in the course of reporting news related to the ex-president. Without citing which interview or report caught his attention, the former president took to social media to slam the news network and its CEO.

"MSNBC (MSDNC) uses FREE government approved airwaves, and yet it is nothing but a 24 hour hit job on Donald J. Trump and the Republican Party for purposes of ELECTION INTERFERENCE," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Brian Robert’s, its Chairman and CEO, is a slimeball who has been able to get away with these constant attacks for years."

Trump further alleged that the network "is the world’s biggest political contribution to the Radical Left Democrats who, by the way, are destroying our Country." He then added:

"Our so-called 'government; should come down hard on them and make them pay for their illegal political activity," he said with a potentially ominous teaser but without elaboration. "Much more to come, watch!"

People with houses had super-tall antennae on top to get the rest. Or cable. Unbeknownst to me, the cable to my rental house was “hamburgered in” as the company said when they disconnected it.

When I moved, the rental apartment building had cable. And so it has gone. All these years later we moved to a lovely neighborhood 50 miles South on the coastal curve — behind some foothills. So cable it is — especially since my husband works from home and his co-workers span the globe.

There’s a lot of people in the modern era for whom cable is a necessary utility. I wish it would be regulated as such.

One who has made use of all these egregious mannerisms for decades, it has always worked for him, until now.

He's such a (insert your favorite word for it) that he sees everyone else as the diet coke fetcher. How dare we see his flaws and point them out? Not only are we here to serve him, we OWE him everything he wants.

If only he'd fall into a coma until after the election and then die.

He DESPISES the TRUTH when it comes to Social Media and the Press. Pun intended.

MSNBC has the cajones to tell the TRUTH. Dipshit has NOT attacked any of the Prime-time MSNBC hosts. They have eloquently given the facts, have guests who back up those facts, given truthful commentaries about the facts.
FACTS Dipshit DOES NOT want out, which is why he attacks when his own words are used against him. Words he tweeted on Social media or at his screed rallies.

I would say that MSNBC has the BEST hosts, guests, and political pundits of the cable news shows. While the events taking place can be downright depressing, I feel more educated about things.

And the people he's talking to aren't going to fact-check him. They believe everything he says. He's in deep shit and he's trying to keep his followers riled up so they'll come to his rescue when he gets detained, either on house arrest or in an actual prison. He seriously wants to cause a civil war. He doesn't give a fuck about this country or even his own followers. No matter how much blood is shed, he intends to walk away from all of this with no negative consequences for himself.

Trump: Just Another Old Yeller?

It seems that GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is always yelling about something or someone, getting into silly spats, asserting fuzzy facts, throwing temper tantrums, and evicting dissenters from his audience. It's all a re-run -- seen that, heard that.

that someone posted the link to in another thread. He pointed out that if Trump thinks his potential administration has the power to come after MSNBC as a Democratic political contributer than the Biden administration would have the same
power to take down Fox as a Republican political contributer, right now. I also like that he added if Trump thinks Pence had the right as VP to overturn Biden's election in 2020, then wouldn't Harris have the right to overturn a potential Trump win in 2024?

This kind of basic logic never occurs to Republicans although I think they know unlike them Democrats follow constitutional laws, and wouldn't go against them.

At squeezing as much stupid into as few words as possible. He can do it in five words!

MSNBC (MSDNC) uses FREE government approved airwaves

1) Government-approved is hyphenated, Dotard.

2) MSNBC does *not* use government airwaves. They're on cable, which is a private sector broadcasting medium.

And then comes the pure projection--also stupid:

yet it is nothing but a 24 hour hit job on Donald J. Trump and the Republican Party for purposes of ELECTION INTERFERENCE

Telling the truth about your traitorous nonsense isn't a hit job. It's a news outlet reporting the truth about you. Don't like thetruth they report about you? Stop being a scumbag.

The only person and party practicing election interference would be you and the traitor thug party.
