And all we ever got was annoying off-key horn noises. And they weren’t even car horns.

"Vote no and take the dough."

I'm glad to see Democrats have gotten over their reticence (or whatever it was) about calling out Republican hypocrisy.

he’s gonna spend the next yr showing up w silver shovels and giant scissors in the districts of these clowns. and he’s gonna call them out, humorously and gently, every time. i hope it’s always a sunny day, and he wears his aviators.
and everyone in those districts is gonna know someone w 1 of those good jobs.

At the same time.. I think the lottery is absolutely a social ill, a problem that should be dealt with. And yet, if i won a big jackpot, I would not turn it down.

First give funds to the districts with reps who voted for the bill. The ones who voted against it should get the crumbs. And the ones who were the most vocal about what a waste it was? They got to the very bottom of the crumb pile.

After all, by voting nay, they were saying they didn't need any infrastructure. So hold them to their word. That way, they'll learn that how they vote has consequences.
