they crow about how great they did bringing that money to their state, even if they voted against it.

(4,741 posts)First give funds to the districts with reps who voted for the bill. The ones who voted against it should get the crumbs. And the ones who were the most vocal about what a waste it was? They got to the very bottom of the crumb pile.
After all, by voting nay, they were saying they didn't need any infrastructure. So hold them to their word. That way, they'll learn that how they vote has consequences.
