Bravo to Newsom for going into the lion's den, and I know he's multiple times smarter than DS, but he is submitting to a very rigged situation IMO.
Don't know if I have a strong enough stomach.

DeSantis was much more of a potential threat back when Newsom agreed to the debate. It's likely to be a draw, but DeSantis might stir his credibility a bit. I don't see upside for Newsom for doing this. I think he just enjoys the sparring of ideologies and party politics. He'll do fine.

#1, they're annoying and predictable.
#2, their presence cajoles those on stage to cater to them vs. the actual debate. In addition, it's nice having only two on stage.

And calling this a "debate" or whatever is a joke, it's nothing but a shouting match with both spouting stats that most don't know unless they take the time to look them up.
