I'm sure if he does - they will just say that he's making stuff up - he's a known liar.

It will be interesting to see if he does try and blackmail some of them.

If he's successful - Tr**p will probably resort to the same tactic. I'm sure Tr**p though - is privy to a lot of dirt on the Repugs in general that can really hurt the Party if they abandon him for another primary nominee.

1. First, some of them care about power over all else, and those will care about

losing a vote/seat from their slim majority. Those types don't need to be blackmailed at all.

Second, many of them are self-aware scumbags with hidden skeletons, or self-loathing closeted-somethings. Those ones need to figure out if George knows any of their not-so-well-kept (but still not public) secrets or not. They might vote to keep him just in case he knows their secrets, if they aren't certain he doesn't, just to be safer.

He doesn't need to explicitly blackmail anyone, or even know anything. He just needs them to a) want his additional vote for the majority's small margin or b) think he might know some dirt on them.

2. Find it very difficult to imagine that George Santos

with his multiple priors and reputation - has a real large circle of 'confidantes' within the halls. So - no - doubt very seriously if he's in possession of any real dirt.

I can easily see him rushing straight to some tittle-tattle publisher for a book or series of 'pieces' - the moment the gavel falls. But - that course probably has him (and publisher) spending the next 15 years in court as a defendant ... But then, looks like he's sorta' headed in that direction anyway.

And - this guy and Trump are not on the same dance card - by any stretch ...
