Ex-Mueller prosecutor: Court "gaffe" reveals evidence of Scott Perry's "complicity" in Jan. 6 scheme

Court documents that were inadvertently unsealed on Wednesday and later taken down revealed communications between Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., and former DOJ official Jeff Clark, one of Trump’s unindicted co-conspirators in D.C. who played a key role in former President Donald Trump’s post-election efforts, according to Politico.

The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, which heard litigation over special counsel Jack Smith’s effort to access Perry’s cell phone, on Wednesday unsealed documents related to the case, including a lower court’s opinion that described and quoted the text messages Smith had been seeking. The unsealed opinion was removed from the court’s public docket later on Wednesday, suggesting it was posted inadvertently, according to the report.
Former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann, who served on special counsel Bob Mueller’s team, tweeted that the court’s “gaffe” shows “evidence of Perry J6 complicity and how the DC panel ruled in a way to insulate him from liability” by overruling the lower court’s decision allowing Smith to access the evidence.

“This is a big deal,” Weissmann wrote, arguing that the messages show that “Perry was up to his eyeballs in support of J6 insurrection.”

In both the planning, execution and cover up.
We know who they are.

No one seems interested in going after them for their crimes against the US government.
The same US government they are sworn to protect and which signs their paycheck, and gives
them many benefits and perks.

I used Perry as an example and I said that when DOJ indicts Perry then I will change my tune.

What the Appeals court released implicates Perry as the middle man between Clark and Trump. What was released doesn't just implicate Perry, it implicates Trump. Perry told Clark that Trump would give him top security clearance seeing as he probably couldn't get one on his own. What was released is concrete evidence of Trump's involvement in the coup.

This should be the A block for every cable news anchor, but it isn't even the A block here.

I quit posting threads about it, no one cares.

The DOJ goes after the foot soldiers but not the high level organizers.
Shameful, isn't it?

The problem is that there are so many GOP criminals, the public is tired and confused.
And the Magas are proud of their elected criminals.

not good news for an institutionalist.

So my question about Perry's phone: Seeing as Magats don't really govern, how much of the information on his phone was really related to speech and debate of Congress?

My 2nd question: now that the Appeals court fucked up by disclosing some of Perry's texts, and has sent the appeal back to the district court, will judge Boasberg, who by the way previously unsealed 14,000 of Hillary Clintons emails because not all of them were personal, keep the FBI from accessing the phone? Perry is a Magat which makes a difference.
