I felt a few shakes on different visits & don't remember the magnitudes, but nothing even remotely like this one.

(9,238 posts)He is near Iloilo on the island of Panay which is a few islands away from the epicenter. I am sure he is fine.
Apparently there was no damage even in areas close to the epicenter. Also the tsunami warning was canceled. Surprising given the strength of this quake.
