CNN using rightwing framing to help Haley

Did you know that Haley wants to REFORM social security? CNN has that splashed across their homepage right now.

Essentially, they are taking what is a real weakness for her and other R's and framing it as a positive. What do you want to bet that the reforms they are touting are cuts? We've heard this song and dance before.

I think Haley is their new darling now that cheato's authoritarian goals are becoming too hard for even them to ignore. Get ready for the Haley hardsell.

I am no fan of Haley but I'd get a big shiver of Schadenfreude if a brown woman beat out TFG in any of the primaries.

she will not fold to the MAGA base at every turn. She's anti-choice and would still support cheato as the nominee.

Haley's problem is the same problem all Republicans have. What they and more importantly their donors want (in Haley's case the Koch organization) is to repeal all social programs--Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the ACA, etc. But they also know the American public--including their own MAGA base--would be 100% against dumping the programs.

I listened to Haley speak to the SS question. What a word salad! This position is as unpopular as the abortion issue.

They know it, too. Which is why they hide behind vague language.

As far as framing the issue to help Haley. The media wants a horserace and pretend that Haley has a chance to win the primary, even though she's riding 50 pts behind Agent Orange.

It's noise.
