Old codgers, of which I am, will never understand how young and younger folks are attached to their phones and social media.
I laugh everytime I see a post on here about how the youth won't vote. the youth look at voting at a voting station as ancient outdated grandparent style life. the same as the old days of going to a polka hall on a Sunday..
If you want 90% of the youth (35 and younger) to vote, get it set up on an online vote. I know it'll be hard, but this is their life. We have to evolve as a society and start opening our eyes.

Our future will have online voting. It'll be right after the 60+ y/o senators and congressman people die off. the younger generation will make their world in line with their needs.

(115,796 posts)Online voting can't happen until it can be made absolutely secure and unhackable, which has nothing to with the ages of anybody, and no matter how much anyone, young or old, wants it to happen. It won't magically happen when the last old legislator dies off.

(1,955 posts)mentioning this? of course not, like I said, once they are gone, the younger future lawmakers will ask for this method, and they (companies) will start designing/inventing a way to do it. You have to try and think of a world not like you or I live in. today is today, tomorrow is their's.
