Once upon a time, March and April were when we worried about a tornado. Hermit-The-Prog Dec 2023 #3

It must be a preferred track, sort of like tornadoes tend to hit around Moore, Oklahoma. catbyte Dec 2023 #7

This was about 6:00 Eastern. I looked like it was about a mile from where he was taking the pic.

following warm weather a tornado producing storm can occur. We topped out at 70 today here in Huntsville and the front is coming through here too. It will drop precipitously after the rainstorms hit and those rain-wrapped tornadoes are usually at the back end of the cells where the temp changes. We had one of the worst tornadoes hit on November 15th after unseasonably warm temps. It was so cold after there was sleet falling on the rescuers.

It has not been that many years ago when people in this region did not have to worry about tornadoes in summer or winter. Now, they may crop up at any time of year.

Every time a system comes from the right direction, Brentwood and Antioch flood and Hendersonville and Goodletsville get a tornado. Heck, where I used to live in East the darn things have hit all around that street. Wild. I hope everyone is okay. Sending good vibes to those who were hit by that thing.

Sadly, there are reports of fatalities coming out of both the Clarksville and Hendersonville tornadoes.

I don't want to try calling or texting and clog up the towers. I will just hope like hell my friends in Nashville who have already checked in will keep an ear out.
