Sinwar escaped Gaza City and headed toward south Gazas Khan Younis in a vehicle that provided humanitarian cover, the report says, adding that more precise details of the vehicle are barred from publication at this point.
The report adds that Israels assessment is that Sinwar is still in Khan Younis, or rather in one of the tunnels that run underneath it.

Just like Netanyahu wants the US to and the EU to take on Houthis for targeting merchant ships with alleged Israeli links. Alleged, yeah right.

(6,641 posts)its reported by KAN (Israeli Broadcasting Station) quoting an Israeli official familiar with details and Sinwar is conveniently in a tunnel underneath Khan Younis where terrible destruction is already being carried out. And humanitarian cover is included for good measure.
Could be true but it sure sounds like every touch point the pr machine is trying to hit. Sure hope its not another case of the story being less than accurate like all those Hamas leaders surrendering that wasnt exactly what the Israeli military were stating.
Will be curious how this one plays out.

(6,641 posts)who were working in Gaza have been killed - its quite difficult to know the truth but eventually it will come out.
I posted a fascinating (to me) article about how AI was being used to create power targets in Israel written by an Israeli journalist who had seven sources inside the military. He said Israeli journalists articles had to be vetted by the military - and what the article talked about was frightening. I kept thinking if THIS has been okd how much more frightening would it be if there was no approval needed to print.
Of course, it didnt get much traction on DU because it was a long and detailed investigative piece not a tweet! 😂

(6,641 posts)The article is long and the interview with the journalist is also fascinating and he explains about the sources.
