How many US Senate seats each party gained in Presidential Election years?

2020- Biden-D victory
Democrats gained AZ,CO and both GA US Senate seats.
Democrats lost AL.
2016-Trump-R victory
Democrats gained IL and NH.
2012- Obama-D victory
Democrats gained IN and ME
Democrats lost NE.
2008- Obama-D victory
Democrats gained AK,CO,MN,NH,NM,NC,OR,and VA.
2004- Bush-R victory
Democrats gained CO and IL
Democrats lost FL,GA,LA,NC,SC,and SD.
2000- Bush-R victory.
Democrats gained DE,FL,MI,MN,MO,and WA.
Democrats lost NV and VA.

In 2024
Democrats will lose WV.
Democrats will hold onto MT,OH,AZ,MI,NV,PA,and WI
Democrats have a 50-50 chance of gaining FL and TX.
