Trump Says a 'Fantastic General' Praised His 'Grab 'Em By The P-y' Tape Response as the 'Bravest Thing I've Ever Seen'

Donald Trump Says a ‘Fantastic General’ Praised His ‘Grab ‘Em By The P–y’ Tape Response as the ‘Bravest Thing I’ve Ever Seen’ (The Wrap)

The former president came under fire in his 2016 campaign for comments from an interview with “Access Hollywood”

Donald Trump spoke to the New York Young Republican Club on Saturday, where he told attendees that a “fantastic general” told him his response in 2016 to his “grab ’em by the p–y” scandal was “the bravest thing I’ve ever seen.” The moment happened at one of that campaign’s presidential debates.

Trump said in full, “A general, who’s a fantastic general, actually said to me, ‘Sir, I’ve been on the battlefield. Men have gone down on my left and on my right. I stood on hills where soldiers were killed. But I believe the bravest thing I’ve ever seen was the night you went on to that stage with Hillary Clinton, after what happened. And then that woman asked you the first question about it.’ And I said, ‘locker room talk!’ It’s locker talk! What the hell?! Locker room talk!”

Narcissists will simply make something up if they think it will make them look better or win an argument.

They do it all the time. Because it doesn't matter to them if what they say is true. They only care about the payoff of saying something, no matter how stupid, cruel or dishonest.

Consider yourself lucky that you didn't have to learn how to recognize the tactic from first-hand experience.

After scrubbing a rally in Iowa on Saturday night because of bad weather, Trump spoke via telephone at an event for Flynn’s “ReAwaken America Tour” held at the former president’s Miami resort. The retired lieutenant general, a top figure in the far-right movement, has been one of the leading proponents of Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

During the call, which was captured on a video of the event posted online, Flynn is seen holding a cellphone up to a microphone as Trump, on the line, says to Flynn, “You just have to stay healthy because we’re bringing you back. We’re going to bring you back.”

It wasn’t clear from Trump’s remarks if he was specifically talking about bringing Flynn into his administration should he win the presidency in 2024 and, if so, for what role.

Please note that the fictitious general was supposedly deeply impressed by Trump's bravery "the night you went on to that stage with Hillary Clinton" (after the "p****" tape surfaced). What this says to me is that he must have been very, very afraid of her, on that particular night, and/or in general.

I mean, seriously, why would he invent a scenario where someone was bragging on his extreme courage in facing Hillary, unless facing Hillary was something that terrified him?

Looking at it from that angle, I find this whole thing highly amusing. Way to give yourself away, Donnie Boy!
