Who's really behind the drive to impeach Joe Biden?

Republicans hailed the indictment handed down by Special Counsel David C. Weiss last Thursday against Hunter Biden on tax evasion as a validation of their impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

But Republicans have still failed to link Joe Biden to any impeachment offense -- or to any offenses at all.
The 56-page indictment never mentions President Biden and provides zero evidence linking the misdeeds of the son to the father.

Nevertheless, House Republicans are pushing ahead this week with their plans for a vote to authorize the impeachment inquiry.

7. Vladimir Putin, with the aide of Fox News and Sean Hannity.

Hell Hannity just gave his minions in Congress a pep talk like he was their regional manager or something. Fox News thinks they are entitled to run the government. They are not. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that foreign news networks that spew hate and lies 24 hours a day has absolute power over the will of the people.

8. The Republicans went after Bill Clinton as an act of revenge for Richard Nixon.

They couldn't go after Jimmy Carter - he was (and still is!) too squeaky clean. They had to wait for the next Democratic president.

Bill Clinton was a basically decent human being who couldn't keep it in his pants. Ken Starr spent four years investigating Clinton and his administration for the suicide of Vince Foster and the Whitewater real estate investments. The only thing that they could find to charge Clinton with was lying about his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Twenty years later, Donald Trump breaks the law. Over and over and over again. The Democratic House of Representatives impeaches him twice, but there aren't enough votes in the Senate to remove him from office.

So, the Republican response is not to find a more honest and patriotic candidate(s). They double down and attempt to impeach the next Democratic president. Like Jimmy Carter, Joe Biden is squeaky clean, but that's no obstacle to the radical Republicans.

9. I think it is Trump's retribution - He was impeached so he wants Biden to be impeached.

If he could he would try and impeach Obama as well.
