Fringe-Left Groups Express Support for Hamas's Invasion and Brutal Attacks in Israel

Some fringe-left groups are aligning with anti-Zionist organizations in the wake of Hamas's attack on Israel, by expressing support for Hamas’s atrocities in the name of “resistance” and “liberation.” The Party for Socialism and Liberation, the World Workers Party, chapters of the Democratic Socialists for America, independent chapters of Black Lives Matter and more have shared these views in official statements and on social media. These groups are also helping to organize in-person, anti-Israel events, where participants are sharing further support for terrorism and violence, as well as expressing antisemitic rhetoric.

When Jackpine radicals was still running, the antisemitism oozed like slime out of their posts.

They considered themselves far left progressives.

Some members floating around out there still do.

Most Americans - and most Democrats - don't agree with terrorism. There are always a few for whom their idealistic ends justify any means. They don't represent the Democratic Party.

seems to be a no-win situation to me. I don't think it can be solved militarily ever and there seems to be no support for a diplomatic solution. But I do think that as time go on without more discriminate efforts to reduce civilians casualties it will become a negative for Israel.

There is not doubt that Hamas cannot win militarily and there only plan has to be to spread the conflict. I think the Iraq/Afghan wars have shown us that you cannot defeat an ideology - so what is the answer? Like I said earlier - it seems like a no-win situation to me unless a diplomatic solution can be devised.

radicals.

Because of decades of Hamas planning and infrastructure, it will be a tough and bloody road to break their hold.

These groups do not offer legitimate criticism of Israeli political policies. They advocate a belief that Israel should not exist. Anti-Zionism, the denial that Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people is by definition antisemitism. I'm not interested in engaging in ridiculous debates about this fact. People who believe that Israel should not exist are antisemites.

Criticizing government policies of the Israeli government is a favorite pastime of Israelis and is an entirely different matter.

that's part of the reason they are far left. It's not just a single issue. They push Jewish conspiracies.

Some right wingers deny the Holocaust. Others openly brag about it.

The Trumpsters marching in Charlottesville were yelling about the ovens ready for the Jews again.

“We killed six million Jews the last time,” he answered. “Eleven million is nothing.”

We also have Trumpsters wearing 'Camp Auschwitz' shirts and 6MWE to remind us.

6MWE means “6 million wasn’t enough,” referring to the holocaust.
