Lets say they foolishly voted to impeach Biden.... GOP and the MAGA Deplorables that is....

Are they wanting to put Vice-President Harris in the Oval Office? The answer is no. They know there is NO way it will even get to the Senate, for there is nothing but lies they are spewing to their base to garner more money for their campaigns and somehow thinking they are tarnishing Biden.

So if you have a colleague that is talking how much they want Biden impeached, remind them Vice-President Harris is next in line...... then watch their reaction to that!

1. There won't be a House vote, IMHO.

Easy to hide behind an "inquiry" vote. But when the actual vote to impeach is based on no evidence, I doubt even the nuttiest ones will sign on. Most likely, the Inquiry gets sidelined and no vote comes up.

3. I agree there will be no vote. They'll to get FOX headlines but even that will be a fart in a windstorm.

You are spot on that they don't intend it have any real effect. You remember the Benghazi hearings. They spent days teasing out one little crumb of information and slowly dragged each tiny discovery through the media, trying to make everyone think it smoking gun or bombshell or whatever.
