Here's A Lie I bet you don't know about

Had dinner with a family member Sunday evening. He got around to it in a roundabout way but "informed" me that Zelensky of Ukraine has used US AID MONEY to buy two luxury yachts for himself.

I immediately said I doubted that was true. It just struck me as misinformation. I said think about it. He would have to keep them somewhere other than Ukraine because most of that coast is a war zone or too close to one and Zelensky does not have time to go sunning himself on a yacht stocked with liquor. Later when home with one Google I found this is a false claim. Two yachts with names used in this "info" DO EXIST and they are for sale.

My dinner source listens to LOTS OF A.M. radio during his work day. So whom would misinformation like this benefit? Where is it circulating ? How long has it circulated? Where did it originate?

Later I just inserted, well like it or not, the money has to be spent to defeat Putin. And he was quick to agree with me. But what other utter bullshit is he hearing? I explained a lot of that money is spent here to pay for weapons for Ukraine to use. Zelensky is not just handed cold hard cash. Hand over fist.

But this is some shit we are up against.

You'll hear the phrase "Ten percent for the big guy" and all the groypers and magas nod their heads upon hearing the catchphrase. Supposedly a lot of the money gets siphoned off and Hunter gets a big cut and Joe gets ten percent of that.

The Russian narrative is that Ukraine is a corrupt nest of "globohomos" and Russia is cleaning it up (while denazifying). Disregarding that Ukraine is a tier 2 corrupt nation (and cleaning it up themselves) while Russia is worse, a tier 3 corrupt nation by international measures.

It's all info bubble shit for confirmation-seeking despicables.

Otherwise, it's not true.

I read it on the internet isn't a "source". I heard it on the radio, isn't a "source".
