(55,334 posts)I don't think knocking Trump off the ballot in a couple of blue states is going to do anything except lend credence to his idiot claims that the election is rigged. It's not like he was gonna get Colorado's electoral votes anyway.
It's at best a pyrrhic victory, at worst it'll give the Magats a moral boost when Scotus inevitably swats down the Colorado Court's 4-3 ruling.
The best way to handle Trump's threat to democracy is with better democracy; vote him down for the 3rd time in 8 years and show Republicans the best way to win elections is to walk away from the extremism and fascism and to start acting like grown ups again.

(55,334 posts)will only give the Republicans something to rally around the nominee. It's much better if they come out of their convention divided. This decision will only encourage them to unify when the "liberal judges" tried to deprive them of God's chosen nominee. The usual crazy shit.
Of course SCOTUS isn't gonna uphold the Colorado Supreme Court. Trump's name is already going to be on the primary ballot
No, it's better to let them stampede to their idiot orgy and have the proper fight out in November. We need to beat them the old fashioned way. They'll lie again, try their bogus lawsuits again, but they can't rerun the same play. Too many people have seen the Big Lie for what it is. As their previous Gods-chosen-president said, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me, you can't get fooled again."

(133,614 posts)By the way, I have voted three times. My guess is the "no" votes are doing the same.
