Even several here at DU do not condemn the deaths of so many innocent Palestinians, even the babies and children. Around half of those killed are children who had nothing to do with Hamas.

The reason I ask is there was a story yesterday of two boys 16 and 17 who crafted a homemade bomb that exploded and killed them as they biked to throw it at Israeli soldiers.

I’m curious if anyone knows how many of these kids are actual combatants. WHO defines child soldiers as >19 so even 18 year olds are categorized as “children” when it comes to war
