I'm calling BS on a narrative that's become widespread: The idea ...

I know of no Dem who thinks this. seems the nytimes believes Dems believe it.
But, I am glad the Colorado SC ruled against Trump on the ballot [it is on hold for now]

I do not have a subscription so I can not read it all.

I’m calling BS on a narrative that’s become widespread: The idea that liberals hope the 14th amendment is the “magical cure-all” that finishes Trump once and for all.

This NYT piece leads with this claim. 1/

"magical cure" is bs. It is what the Constitution says, that isn't magical. What will be magical is how the SC justices tie themselves up in knots shooting down the Colorado decision.

Also, the appeal in Colorado was brought by Republicans not Democrats.

Do I hope that the SC does its job without fear or favor? Hell yes, the 14th Amendment was written by people who had people like Donald Trump in mind.
