I'm not sure why people seem to think that Trump needs "Vlad's people" for anything. He has millions of sycophants, and a not-insignificant fraction of them seem to have no problem making threats and committing crimes. Hundreds of them have gone to jail for him.

Insisting that Vlad must be responsible for everything discounts just how fucked up these people are, including Trump. They're perfectly fine being abhorrent assholes without outside influence.

That doesn't mean there can't be some outside influence, but the knee-jerk assertions that it's the driving force behind *everything* are just silly.

I laugh every time someone says that Lindsay Graham only acts the way he does because Putin has something on him. Nah, it's more likely he's just a pandering asshole who follows whichever way the wind blows.
