(12,533 posts)He acts as if he's starving which is obviously not the case. And his eating manners are atrocious.
Can you imagine the scene at State dinners with DeSantis at the table??
LOL.

(15,399 posts)But that was because when underway, I worked 12 on/12 off and only had 30 minutes for a chow break before I had to be back up to my workspace.
About 3 to 5 minutes to get to the crew's mess, 5 to 10 minutes waiting in line... Not a lot of time. But I still wouldn't cram food, not talk with my mouth full.
But as he was JAG officer and supposedly had to go through knife and fork training; he has no excuse for eating like an E-1 snipe or swabie on his first deployment out of boot camp.
He must be an alien lizard invader still having problems with his human suit. How the hell did he make it through enough rubber chicken meal parties with the GOP hoi-polloi to even get the nod to run for office acting like that? Must have been before the alien took his place.

(15,399 posts)They are considered representatives of US Policy (which is why their commission is from Congress) and their position places them in what is considered upper middle class.
It used to be considered a big deal for a young lady of "good family" to attract the attention of a commissioned officer as potential husband material.

(17,428 posts)Went through LDO/CWO Indoc in Pensacola. They had an old lady that taught "etiquette". She was one of those "Officer and a Gentleman" girls from back in the day, who just wanted to marry a Navy Pilot. She joked that she was so good at it that she married 3 pilots in her life.
One word I would use to describe Ron would be "slovenly". No wonder he left the Navy for politics.
