Tired of hearing let the voters decide

When I hear or read that the voters should decide, they are gambling MY rights away when there is a clear law forcing the system to prevent those who violate their oath of office or was found "in court of law" to be an Insurrectist.

If they took arms or support against the United States, then they should never have any doings with the United States, that should include pensions.

14th amendment is quite clear, its for preservation of the United States from those who tried to hurt or Nation.

So next time you hear someone says they should let the voters decide, replied back, they tried to take your vote away on Jan 6 and they lost they rights after that.

Should the people in your town hold a vote to decide whether the law should be enforced against this individual or that?

Of course not. The law's the law, and the courts are where questions about it are settled.

Rule of law was set up to protect us from both the whims of leaders AND the whims of the crowd. The latter is why we're not a "direct democracy" that votes on everything every day, but rather a "representative democracy" that is supposed to respect said rule of law.

Say the voters DID decide and the loser sought to deny the will of the voters by violently disrupting a Constitutional process. If we are indeed a nation of laws, it’s now time for a jury to decide.

He tried to overturn the election he lost by lying. It got him disqualified from holding office again. That should be the end of the story.

Same as when the Republicans stole President Obama's supreme Court nomination with that same excuse. The voters HAD ALREADY DECIDED they wanted Obama as President, fulfilling those duties for the full length of his term.

Should we "let the voters decide" if a 21-year-old should be president? Should we "let the voters decide" if a Russian should be president? (wait, they did that in 2016....)
Answer: NO. The Constitutional command is UNAMBIGUOUS, so there is NOTHING for voters to decide. Insurrectionists are NOT qualified for any office under the United States.

It’s a right that voters should have no right to take away. It’s only because of the shitty SC decision that we’re having to put it up to a vote. But it’s not right.

We need harsher penalties for treason.
