I hope that what they learned from their experience with the legislature is that voting for Republicans will always mean that the well-being of actual people will never matter when there are lobbyist contributions to earn with shitty votes.

(3,859 posts)So the Covenant parents whose children were murdered or traumatized by the shooting at their school were VERY disturbed and upset by the reception they got at the hands of the Tennessee Republican lawmakers who essentially showed them the door.
BFD.
I'll bet every one of these Covenant parents will vote Republican in November 2024.
