They are trying to gain back their weapons they gun weild their weapons as an act of intimidation of the peaceful protest through the court system. They just recently lost their case in the Missouri Court of Appeals and they are probably going to push to the MO Supreme Court. Either case, they pled guilty to the gun charges, it will be a tough road to overcome for the rule of law is not to be determined by ones name or political party affiliation.

if you're a gun owner, then you're assumed to be irresponsible, and hence, should have the gun taken away. Zero strikes needed.

Extremist "solutions" are why we can't have the nice things of sensible solutions.

Okay that's not really true in this case -- I don't know many actual Democrats who are seriously proposing to repeal the 2nd amendment; but when crap like "Defund the Police" gets bandied about too much, somehow we all get tarred with it and it gets in the way of actually solving the actual problems.

First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

We're between the laughing and fighting stage.

Apparently properly attributed to a trade union activist, Nicholas Klein.

Not as long as the U.S. remains governed by the current Constitution.

I'm not a gun owner myself but I know many gun owners. Some are definitely, actually, responsible gun owners. Others not as responsible as I'd like, but still within the range of someone who would be allowed to own a gun or a few under reasonable (and possibly attainable) gun laws.

There's a ton of restrictions that would be helpful, and should be low-hanging fruit in a reasonable political environment, but for some reason we can't even get those. The only way we get what you ask for, is by a devolution to authoritarian government.

There are millions of perfectly responsible gun owners.
But they're quiet, boring, and go their whole lives without make any news, or having any 'strikes'.

Honestly i'm surprised he didn't win since rethugs only vote based on who they think will upset "libruuls" more.

He finished 5th in the rethug primary

I read about the case. They were 'pardoned', but that did not remove their 'guilt'--
and thus they can't get their guns back.... but they can go buy some more...

It cost money to threaten your countrymen continually....
