I'm affraid of 2024

2023 was bad enough. The uncertainty of it all makes for lots of worry. Can’t do another Trump presidency and the next one will kill many of us off.

I said the same thing in 2016. Remember that Trump lost in 2020 by a landslide and that was before all his crimes were exposed and the criminal indictments. It was before he was found guilty of rape. I can’t believe he will do any better in 2024 than in 2020.

That’s an extremely narrow margin, easily whittled down with enough sabotage from third party candidates.

A landslide consists of 400+ Electoral Votes. The last true landslide was 1988.

We don't, tho.

In terms of votes that matter, Biden won by about 44,000 votes across a handful of states.

I look forward to Trump losing again. After that, nothing that dumb judge in Florida does can save him. If he manages to escape from the other charges, which is unlikely.
He won with a squeaker in 2016. Then he lost in a blue wave in 2018. He lost in 2020. He lost his red wave in 2022

Don't believe polls. Believe data. Trump is a loser.

He may not face a criminal trial in 2024, but the indictments will be waiting for him when he loses again.

He didn't win the vote, he won the PROCESS in that election. America has NEVER actually chosen him by will of the people.

He just needs to be a loser ONE MORE TIME, and we'll be rid of him for good.

It just doesn't add up how a few unclassified lunatics have been able to cause such turmoil. The chief lunatic only gains validation from ultra billionaires with no sense of moral obligations, clueless high bracket taxpayers and the band of low-lifes and thieves that occupy the militia and serfdom. The other spectrum which most of us occupy have been beat up time and again by the senseless electoral college and the appointed judges and thieves that have a legal say-so.
If the moral majority win back in a big way it will be time to reorganize the entire system while we can.
Hugs to you and all of us this New Year. May the powers that be and all the angels and warriors come together to right too many wrongs.

It was right after the SC handed dubya the presidency that my heart bottomed and although there has been some encouragement during the Obama years it quickly fizzled under that lunatic. I could finally sleep at night with Joe in the white house. I threw out my television years ago under dubya and never looked back. I really pick and choose what I read and listen to. It's mainly classic radio and NPR and a few news sources. I don't need another BP spike; I try really hard on that one to stay healthy and alert. hugs,

Can’t be scared off before we even get started! You are doing your part and the rest of us, in our way are, too. Don’t look at the polls, they’re meaningless and the only counting that counts is the election results. Be positive and enjoy the promise of a new year and its challenges as they come and go. Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy new year..we’re gonna be alright 👍

The party has outperformed expectations in every election since 2016, except for the Senate in 2020. Boomers will no longer the majority of the voters as the baton has been passed to Millenials. Women are voting to protect their reproductive rights. Trump has bankrupted many state Republican parties. The economy is strong and should continue to get stronger next year.

In sum, the Democrats occupy more of the political center than the Republicans who've become married to Trump and tied up with twisted conspiracy theories.

I can state that confidently. There may be a little blowback from his flying monkeys but nothing that LE and the National Guard cannot deal with.

Please, don't buy into the panic and anxiety he is spreading. Be confident that the US will do the right thing.
