(114,683 posts)major moves to Texas. It isn't just their female workers but all workers who may be impacted by this legalized negligent manslaughter of women. And parents? Why the hell would you let your daughters go to Texas schools? Frankly, sons too, given what could happen to those they care about.
I say this with considerable concern and sympathy to Texas DUers. But this is beyond redemption for the state of Texas and that MAGA-filled Federal Court.

after Dobbs decision. Worried women (and their boyfriends/spouses) might opt to leave Indiana for states without draconian health laws.
More, those other states might mention that to recruits to make them think about their decision to work for EL in Indiana - or use it to steal current employees on whom they have spent considerable $$ training.
Not a bad objective for those states to start doing that. Start with Indiana and Texas.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
