How many soldiers died in the attack upon Ft Sumter?

Would you believe it was only two and it was an accident?

According to Google, "The bombardment of Fort Sumter was the opening engagement of the American Civil War. Although there were no casualties during the bombardment, one Union artillerist was killed and three wounded (one mortally) when a cannon exploded prematurely while firing a salute during the evacuation on April 14."

One might ask, was the attack upon our Capitol on January 6th, 2021, a worse attack upon our Republic than the attack upon Ft Sumter?

As far as we know, at Ft Sumter, the VP of the United States was not threatened to be hanged. The elected Congressmen and Senators of the people did not have to run for their lives. No one marched thru our Capitol with a Confederate flag.

And Donald Trump says that January 6th was not an "insurrection". Also, that he did not aid or abet in any insurrection.

A lot of guilty people are making some absurd claims of innocence.
