Democrats have to walk & chew gum at the same time:

* Defend Democracy
* Defend abortion
* Protect school children from gun violence
* Explain what a 2-TERM Democrat can do for the United States

1. In my view

they should never have restricted presidents to two terms. Why change horses in midstream when it's all working? Obama could have be re-elected again. Reagan? Maybe, maybe not. But it might have forced him to accountability for Ollie North and Iran-Contra, the S&L crisis, and maybe even 1980's hostage debacle that the GOP seemingly had a hand in.

At times of war, we thankfully have never had to abandon a president after 8 years. But as things are, that could happen. There are other ways for citizens who vote to eject a president. A 4 year election cycle for example. Age. Competence. Few would meet the challenge of re-election after 8 years. But those who do were remarkable. This is not a shill for Biden 2028. Just some thoughts.
