2014, The Year of Democracy

I continue to think that a campaign making 2024 The Year of Democracy with bumper sticker, pins, and marches would help defeat Trump.

Biden and a number of democrats are now focusing on democracy as a reason to vote Democratic. Trump has tried to co-opt the democracy theme, but it fell flat, as well t should. (All one need do is remind people of Jan. 6., etc.) Which indicates he knows he is vulnerable to "Save Democracy" attacks.

So we should double down.

The bumpier-stickers and pins ("Vote for Democracy" ) could be non-partisan in appearance. (Imagine the reaction against anyone who attacks the idea of democracy or the idea of voting for it.)

The marches could be several: Memorial Day (celebrating those who fought and died for democracy) and July 4th, of course, but there could be several others as well.

Let's help keep democracy front and center in Americans' minds.

ETA the important part: Democracy should be the number one priority in our rhetoric.
Perhaps we also can give credit where credit is due: the wise statesman leading the nation, JRB.
