Ivanka Trump's Post About Husband Jared Kushner Has People Saying, Hmm

Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner drew ridicule on Sunday after former President Donald Trump’s daughter shared audio to X (formerly Twitter) of Kushner promoting a go-getter attitude to podcaster Lex Fridman. “I just think it’s just something where, if you want to accomplish something, you know, a lot of people, I hear, complain about what other people do or why it’s hard, or why it’s impossible,” Kushner told Fridman in the clip, which was recorded in October 2023.

“And again, I say this as somebody who has been so blessed with so many things in life, but when I’ve had challenges or things I’ve wanted to achieve, I just focus and say, ‘What can I do?’” Donald Trump’s son-in-law continued. “I’ll read everything I can get my hands on. If I fail at one thing, if the door closes, I’ll try the window. If the window closes, I’ll try the chimney. If the chimney closes, I’ll try to dig a tunnel. It’s just, if you want to accomplish something, you just have to go at it.”

Ivanka Trump claimed to have “received a remarkable number of gracious compliments” on her husband’s comments. She didn’t allow comments on the post, however. “I personally love this clip as it reveals the determined optimist who firmly believes that there’s always a solution if you’re willing to try enough paths. I love this about Jared… and it’s a good reminder as we start the new year!” she added.

Critics on social media, though, were quick to point out the wealth that Kushner was born into. Kushner and Ivanka Trump did not take paychecks when serving as White House advisers to Donald Trump, but they did coin in between $172 million and $640 million in outside income. In April 2022, a Saudi sovereign wealth fund led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reportedly invested $2 billion in Kushner’s Affinity Partners fund.

couldn't believe that Jared "got into" Harvard with his mediocre grades. IOW, there were graduates with a better, much better, GPA than Jared who were not admitted to Harvard.

His father's donation leveled the playing field.

As far as Jared's tenacity and determination to confront conflicts, please note that while he has a JD, he is not admitted to practice law in any jurisdiction.

“And again, I say this as somebody who has been so blessed with so many things in life, but when I’ve had challenges or things I’ve wanted to achieve, I just focus and say, ‘What can I do?’” Donald Trump’s son-in-law continued. “I’ll read everything I can get my hands on. In turn, I was smart enough to use access to that highly classified government information and the connections it gave me, to become amazingly successful.

I just do not understand all of these people without ambition, expecting something for nothing!

Daddy's over a million dollar donation to Harvard when I was an average to mediocre student in High School, had nothing to with me getting accepted. It was all because of my perseverance and knowledge to let someone else handle the application process.

And don't forget, without my speed reading and keen use of the internet, which I had spent literally hours on watching YouTube videos and doing Twitter (before it was X !) searches, I single handedly brought permanent lasting peace to the Middle East. Such an easy problem to solve if you use your wits.

some circles, at least for a while. Certainly they don't comprehend why.

IMO They are far too wealthy to be completely ignored, unless they are prominent on Epstein's list, become specifically infamous for the Saudi deal, or some similar activity. My point is that kind of money has ways of opening doors. IMO Davanka aren't smart enough to herd dust-bunnies. All that wealth and luck to be born into the group in power, has nothing to do with all that amazing success.

Even though she has no government or policy experience, she plans to review some executive orders before they are signed, according to White House officials; some earlier orders had set off a firestorm. She calls cabinet officials on issues she is interested in, recently asking the United Nations ambassador, Nikki R. Haley, about getting humanitarian aid into Syria. She set up a weekly meeting with Steven Mnuchin, the Treasury secretary.

In interviews last week, she said she intended to act as a moderating force in an administration swept into office by nationalist sentiment. Other officials added that she had weighed in on topics including climate, deportation, education and refugee policy.
