gratuitous
(82,849 posts)I picture the gun-toting chud, sharpie marker in hand, carefully scrutinizing a dictionary as he memorializes his psychological instability for all to see.

(3,220 posts)...it looks like he screwed up and had to fix something. I bet he tried a solvent to clean it off and found out that Sharpies really are permanent! What a moron (or should I say, moran).

(68,964 posts)That said, I'd bet that marker penetrated through the clear coat and into the color coat making isopropyl alcohol unable to completely remove it. A shadow of his handiwork is likely to remain.

(4,661 posts)A HERETIC I AM
(24,902 posts)I am mildly dyslexic and my handwriting has always been atrocious. I have done that mixing of lower and upper case letters in words all my life. When I try and write properly i have to go r e a l l y slow and it is just tedious.
I also habitually spell certain words wrong, even though I have seen them thousands of times.
Not defending the nutbag's politics, but it's possible he suffers from the same affliction I do.

to sometimes work on my tolerance skills. It just hard with these guys sometimes.
Thanks for helping me learn something, though. I would never have suspected case mix could be a result of dyslexia - but it makes sense now that youve pointed it out.
A HERETIC I AM
(24,902 posts)I read long ago a list of symptoms of Dyslexia. In addition to the well known things like transposing numbers and letters when reading (something I don't do) they also included difficulty in learning left from right, poor penmanship and difficulty spelling certain words or transposing letters when writing, all of which affected me. I had a really hard time remembering my right from my left until I started playing little league and I knew I was right handed. I would often have to consciously think about which hand I threw a baseball with in order to remember! I'm well past that now, thankfully.
At almost 65 years old I still have a tendency to misspell words like "neighbor" (got that one on the first try!) and other "I before E" words. Friend, Theif, (missed that one...see?). etc. Again, all words I have seen in text thousands of times, but still want to misspell them.
But I agree with you, it is very difficult to tolerate someone with so much hate in their hearts. What the hell is that guy going to actually do with that gun because he thinks Biden committed treason? I can not imagine going through life with that kind of attitude and having it so overwhelm me that I felt compelled to decorate my vehicle.

(4,766 posts)The corrected "e" was originally upper case, but the person 'fixed' it to be lower case.

TwilightZone
(28,836 posts)Nope. There are a lot of liberal gun owners, particularly in red states. About 1/3 of Democrats live in a household where someone owns a gun and 42% of independents.

There isn't going to be a civil war. It's an assertion that's ridiculously overblown.
MadameButterfly
(4,153 posts)enlighten me. What percentage of Republicans? And who owns the ausalt weapons?
i had read that i high percentage of the guns were in the hands of a small percentage of the people. People stockpiling guns for....whatever.

Give me a group of Democrats any day. Many of them are armed and actually know how to shoot.

(4,741 posts)If you're sport-shooting or an assassin, then, yeah, accuracy is a good skill to have. Otherwise, shotgun + center mass will work as well as years of marksmanship training to take someone down.

(3,220 posts)...(MAGANazi, I think) and Redditors aren't squeamish about doxxing chuds. There was a similar photo from perhaps a year ago of an old hooptie car ('90s Pontiac, as I recall) that had a million totally offensive chud bumper stickers all over it. The original photo did show the plates, and whoever posted it here blanked them out.

(2,301 posts)If someone had a sharpie they could potentially amend his statement.
For example:
I Carry A Gun
Because I'm A Terrified Snowflake!
Joe Biden hasn't
Committed Treason Like Trump!
Biden/Harris 2024
I'm not saying that anyone should deface his property, I'm just saying there's room.
There is room indeed....
....not that anyone should.
Of course
