(18,138 posts)those that tried to breach the fence at the WH should have been shot on sight.
If some don't like what I say, too bad.

(18,138 posts)but not when it comes to the ultimate power in this country, the video shows those pro Hamas terrorists trying to breach the gate and a terrorist attempting to climb the fence, at that point, their intent is clear, they want to breach the perimeter and gain access to the WH to do.........who knows what.
I repeat, as soon as they tried to breach the perimeter, they should've been shot.

(23,516 posts)at her and she still tried to come inside through the window. What if they didn't shoot her? All the rest would have just followed.
I hope they start arresting these thugs and throwing them in jail. They are scary.

(12,412 posts)I would suggest rubber bullets, etc., until they actually hit the ground. But once they head toward WH, its blast away.
MarineCombatEngineer
(18,138 posts)at that point, they should've been shot, and I will concede that it should be a rubber bullet, but it that doesn't stop them, then all bets are off.

(96,882 posts)This is not the fence on the White House Grounds. Its a security Fence at either 15th or 17th St, blocking the plaza in front of the White House.
bottomofthehill
(9,396 posts)It is in the middle of PA Ave and was out there as a second barrier from lessons learned from the BLM assault on the White House. It is a 10 foot fence similar to the one that went up around the capitol on 1/6 and the inaugural parade rout.

(5,342 posts)It's a pretty loose term, but it generally applies to Marxists who support violent opposition to all things Western but particularly "capitalism" and "imperialism"; they tend to idolize "Revolutionaries" like Mao, Stalin, Shining Path, and the like. The term supposedly originated with the use of Russian tanks to crush Hungarian resistance
they're quite a nasty little lot, and unfortunately it seems they're moving from an amusing curiosity into an actual terrorist threat, if currently rather incoherent and screechy.

(152 posts)Arrest them. Charge them. Imprison them. Extremists on both sides are a danger to the country. If we could just send them to some vast wasteland and let them fight it out amongst themselves, life would be easier.

It is also reporting that one of the march organizers was the umbrella group American Muslim Task Force for Palestine of which both American Muslims for Palestine and CAIR are members.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's what Influence Watch has to say about American Muslims for Palestine:
American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) is an anti-Israel organization with strong ties to pro-Hamas individuals and organizations. While AMP refers to itself as an educational organization focused primarily on raising awareness for Palestinian causes, it has been described by the Anti-Defamation League as the leading organization providing anti-Zionist training in America.
Multiple individuals associated with AMP have ties to organizations that have been implicated by the federal government for offering support to terrorist entities such as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. At a 2014 AMP conference, a lecturer invited attendees to navigate the fine line between legal activism and material support for terrorism.
AMP has been accused of serving as a de facto rebrand of a group called the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP) that shut down shortly after a 2004 judgment which implicated it and several similar Muslims groups in providing material support to Hamas. A subsequent lawsuit alleged that AMP had essentially the same leaders, mission, and initiatives as the IAP. The AMP has contested these claims, denying the allegedly shared leadership and insisting that there was a two-year gap between the old organization shutting down and its own launch.

(20,389 posts)A spokesman for President Biden condemned the remarks by Nihad Awad, the national executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who declared in a speech that Palestinians in Gaza have the right to self-defense but that Israel as an occupying power does not. Mr. Awad said his comments were being misconstrued.
