Of the 120K Republicans in a "conservative" state who came to caucus, 49% voted against Trump, even when they had to do it openly in the face of doubtlessly loony MAGAts.

I don't think that's the huge victory CNN and the NYT have been blaring about.

Most of course would vote for Trump in the general. But I don't think Trump's team are gloating in private that he managed to get barely a majority over two deeply disliked others.

For some reason, they didn't have the turnout numbers and how they compared to prior caucus years.
