Hannity’s hatchet job on Maddow took up a good portion of a long diatribe against mainstream media ― but his ire was clearly sparked by Maddow’s explanation for MSNBC not airing Donald Trump’s victory speech live at the Iowa caucus on Monday.

22. I think part of this is fear on Hannity's part, along w/ TFG, & others. Fearful because

they're afraid people are beginning to listen to her, and reading her work. It's not just Rachel they fear, but other sane people, as well.

Why all of a sudden did Hannity decide to go after Rachel? Because the GOP are faltering. They can't blame themselves because they have nothing to offer except for lies and made up stories. So they go after the truth-tellers.

What do they do? Target and demonize Rachel,
then they'll go on to other sane people.

10. There was an entertaining segment in the remake of The Stand

One of the female characters torments Lloyd Heinreid by casually mentioning Randall Flagg's name which brings out all of Lloyd's insecurities, effectively making him impotent.

It isn't a generous thought, but I imagine hearing Rachel Maddow's name must have a similar effect on Mr. Hannity.
