this morning made me spit out my coffee. This is the same guy who advised Republicans in the 90s to talk like Newt by describing Democrats with terms like corrupt, devour, greed, hypocrisy, liberal, sick, and traitors.
But now hes against negativity!

(855 posts).Last week, Lawrence O'Donnell described Lakoff's "truth sandwich]" on his show. It was the perfect example to make his point.
"Truth" is sandwiched between lies and deception on the top,... and lies and deceptions on the bottom. (paraphrase)

(38,050 posts)Thank you for starting this op. Anything the Luntz says - do the opposite.
Our values and platform are NOT negativity.
It's a choice between two visions of America this year:
Democracy as we know it.
Or.
The end of our experiment.
And I want every single Democratic Party member to lean into it this year.
Look - just a tiny Borough Council member elected in November here. In our county - Moms for Libertines have taken over our school boards.
I ran on sidewalks and our Borough Library. And you know what?
I won. I leaned into the 1st Amendment and played into our two opponents silence about what was happening at our school board. And now - I'm the Library Liaison.
Ignore Luntz. He's a genuine son of a biscuit eater and has zero value to the Democratic Party.

(5,370 posts)And called him a "friend of the show."
He sat there, with a straight face, and said how great it would be if a significant part of the electorate voted third party. It would cure all that ails us.

(18,605 posts)Luntz has been on MSNBC a few times; they're apparently trying to normalize his lies and turn him into a regular contributor. I hope the audience reacts to Luntz like they did when Hugh Hewitt and other RW fabulists were brought in by MSNBC ownership to provide "balance."

with you not with the media reporting it. Luntz is worried about losing control of the
narrative and the ability to slant issues in a way that keeps a % of Americans voting
against their own best interests.
As noted up thread democrat party was from Frank. Phuck him.
