was declining before he got started in the race....

His best polling results, which did make him competitive with drumph,
were about a year before he declared his candidacy.....

He was another one of those GOP presidential "flash in the pan"s and "flavors of the month"....
we've seen those before.

Remember the WALKER boom ? he didn't even last through the first few primaries in 2016...
maybe he quit before the first, I don't remember anymore
