I might take your bet there and bet that quite a few of them do have a 401K.
Somebody should poll them on that.

I'm as "average" as it gets, and my 401K is pretty sweet right now.

Not because they want to lose their money - but because it will challenge their view of reality if it doesn't.

In 2020 Trump said the stock market would collapse if Biden were elected. They don't want to him to be wrong. He is their idol, their oracle, their object of worship. He must be infallible.

Of course, when he is proven wrong they will just come up with a way of twisting or ignoring that.
