Not likely. There would still be those who desire power over others. There would still be those who desire to be worshiped. There would still be those who want it all. And once they have it all, they would want more.

Color, religion, nationality, and so many other differences are useful and convenient divisions for such people. And if those divisions didn't exist, they'd make up others. What others? Well, try things like emotional temperament, height, weight, eye color, physical build, -- Hell, the differences between us are endless. And are fodder for those who want to own us.

Our differences, any differences, make it easier for would-be tyrants to turn people against each other. It makes it easier for them to apply the tools of fear and hatred. It makes it easier for them to justify their "leadership" of the masses.

It's really no deeper than that. Yet, the vast majority of human beings on this planet don't get it and never have. It's why we live in a blood-soaked world. Our technology advances. But our sense of humanity is barely out of the caves. It's why tyrants have existed throughout history and it's why they still exist today.

Donald Trump wouldn't understand one concept that I've stated in this post. Nor does he need to in order to get what he wants. Him, and those like him just want it all. They care nothing for, or about, others and they will do anything imaginable to own us. If you get nothing else from this post, get this: Donald Trump wants it all. And if he gets it all, he'll want more.

Southern Baptist Church is allied with certain, select other fundies. Some of the Pentecostals. Maybe some Methodists and Presbyterians.

Catholics bad. Adventists bad. Jehovah's Witnesses bad. Mormons bad.

It was wasn't until about 1995 that the SBC said we're sorry for embracing slavery. Very quietly. I didn't hear about it until 2003.

The participants in the first two Crusades did not speak English - most of the European soldiers were Frankish and Germanic; the English soldiers in subsequent crusades didn't speak what we know as English, and all were fighting against non-English-speaking non-White non-Christians. There have been plenty of religious wars throughout history but the OP relates only to Christians. So the Crusades are irrelevant to the OP's question.

I would leave immediately. I'm about at that point now. As a gay man, I have been fighting all my life just to be recognized as a human being. The 80s were especially challenging. I am lucky to have survived the AIDS epidemic. I thought things were getting better during Obama. But then Trump came along and everyone's true colors showed. I am sick and tired of having to defend my humanity.

While I would never end my own life at this point (I tried at 19), I will be relieved when it's over. Everything, every day is a struggle. People like me are attacked just for existing constantly, and I am so fucking tired of it. It just never ends.

If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I hope I NEVER am reborn here on this planet. There has to be a better place where people are not constantly demonized just for existing.

To be honest, I have no fear of death at all. There are fates worse than death, and for many people on this planet, this is exactly it-a living hell.

Hell is indeed other people on this planet. Just look at Ukraine, Israel/Palestine, most of Africa. Who in their right mind would want to be in any of those places?

Life on this planet is a very sick joke. But it is less than funny for most of its inhabitants. And let's be honest, most people in this world live under oppressive regimes.
