Will Nikki Haley bend the knee to Trump when she gets out of the race?

Considering what is predicted as to the dirty tricks and how Trump will trash here, that would be disappointing. But, I would not be surprised.
Interesting now how DeSantis has vowed that Florida will not be paying Trump's legal fees as long as he has the veto pen.

That's an interesting question. I'm not sure if the delegates Trump wins are bound to him for the first vote. patphil Jan 2024 #11

Sorry for yelling, but she has no integrity or moral compass and has already promised to pardon and support him.

to pre-position herself for 2028. Will happen quicker if she outperforms expectations, or at the leisurely pace of a math-based campaign. All other things being equal (expt trump of course), she's quickly becoming the GOP's flavor of the month, and I think she believes that of herself as well. I think she knows attaching herself to trump's carcass is a short-term gain, but a long-term loser, and I kinda think she's looking a few year further into the future than trump is.

Billionaires will pull the strings.

If tfg is convicted before the convention and polling shows he cannot win, the billionaires will pull levers at the convention to get the candidate that they want. If it is Haley, she will be told to wait until after the convention. If they think someone else can beat Biden, they will have her bend the knee.

If so, and he has enough delegates, he may be the nominee, regardless of his conviction.
That would create an incredible mess for the Republicans; I'm not sure the behind the scenes power players could derail his nomination.
But then, his election chances go way down if he is convicted. His base will vote for him, but who else will?
Not enough outside his hard core base to get him elected if he's convicted.
If there is a way to stop him, I'm sure they'll do all they can to do so.
Personally, I'd rather see a wounded, weakened Trump get his ass handed to him in the November election, with a whole bunch of Republican candidates who support him also go down hard.
We shall see.

once his legal difficulties make him unelectable in the eyes of the RNC. Maybe by convention time.
