(3,057 posts)I'm not at all familiar with Smith. So I looked up his book on Amazon and wow, it has a 4.6 rating with almost 1,800 reviews, 90% of which are either a 4 or 5 out of 5. It seems he has led a most admirable life!
I'll be watching!

(258,952 posts)And they will definitely have a lot to talk about today!

(258,952 posts)They did discuss it, but then went on to other viewer questions, but then Adam Schiff dropped a four letter word(!), then Seth did - twice - and when Bill finally mentioned it, he repeated what he'd just said. So Bill reminded them that they were now on CNN where swearing isn't allowed and they could lose their spot there - and he soon shut down what was a pretty animated political discussion.

(52,413 posts)Meaning it was 1:30 Pacific Time.
This is more than five hours before the show start Live.
Spouse claims that it used to say LIVE on the screen but no longer.
Yet, I remember many years ago when we were on a verge of a government shutdown because of another abortion debate.
And at some point Maher had his ear piece and said: Were OK. They reached an agreement.
question everything
(52,413 posts)previous one - that I expected him to comment on fresh events and.. nothing,

(2,602 posts)Im watching now. Id never heard of Steven A. Smith before. He has a very distinctive face. I realized that he looks just like a recurring actor on General Hospital. Turns out its him (he plays Brick on the show)!

(258,952 posts)The last time I tuned in I was kinda disappointed to see that they'd persisted with the mafia-like stories. When I watched they focused on stories from General Hospital and the international spies. Thanks for the information, I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned!

(11,852 posts)I was in L.A. when, I think, he was still hosting Politically Incorrect. I was at a Beatles convention with some friends in the dealer room where all the rare stuff was and was looking through some records and in walks Bill to where we were. We exchanged pleasantries.
I was a fervent watcher until he started going against vaccines and other things.
