my feeling is the more money spent on Trump's lawyers means less money that might go to electing and re-electing Republicans.

PACs need to have the spending restricted to only those items overtly political.
Campaigns, GOTV, polling, issue ads, and the like.
Taking funds to pay legal fees for issues not directly involved in politics should not be permitted.

and without access to these funds, Cheato would not be able to fill the media with propaganda and fund delay after delay.
