Still, it's a victory for Ms. Carroll, and in fact a victory for rape survivors in general.

(53,544 posts)The strong stubborn ones will stick with him no matter what. There are about 35% within the Republican Party that fit that mode. Don't forget that there are Independents that also are not as stubborn. There might be a few. But fewer then the 35%.

It is the same in Congress. Not everyone in the Republican Party is on the same page with everything. Just like the Democratic congressional members.
