And then there's this little gem from her former assistant:

Additionally, Grisham and another staffer spent time "shopping" in the White House military office "for a good-looking aide" to accompany the first lady to the State of the Union, at Melania Trump's request. "Mrs. Trump called to let me know that she wanted one of our military aides to escort her throughout the Capitol because 'the floors were so slippery,'" writes Grisham, who felt the request was a ruse for Trump to be seen with a handsome, uniformed younger man -- a visual likely to rankle her husband. "I laughed to myself because I'd seen the woman navigate dirt roads in her heels."

She will make her escape soon. The longer she stays, the worse it will get. Her home country is Slovenia, which is beautiful and unspoiled. I'm sure she could find a suitable boyfriend there, so it would be a soft landing. She will get no money from Trump, so there's some sacrifice involved, but incentive to stay with him is fading fast

She may not be very likable, but she’s not stupid.

Page Six reports that, according to a source, Melania spent the last year renegotiating the terms of her prenuptial agreement with the ex-president, and that her new “postnup” is now in place. According to one source, the former FLOTUS wanted a new deal not because there’s a possibility she’ll have to move back into the White House, i.e., her least favorite place on earth, but because she’s worried about how much money will be left over for her and her son after Trump is done paying his various legal bills and damages. “This agreement was necessary because of the current legal battles…[Donald] has suffered,” a source told the outlet.

Did Melania actually say the words, “Give me more money or I’ll leave your ass”? No, a source told Page Six, but only because it was clearly implied. “It’s not that she threatened to leave him,” the source said. “It’s definitely the underlying idea.” According to another person familiar with the matter, the former first lady wanted the new deal to “provide her with more money,” including cash and property, “and also…there’s a specific amount at minimum that Barron is supposed to obtain.”

rather than any other thing like a "promissory note" etc. or some "ownership" of some financial deal. We know how crooked this guy is and the idea that he would screw over his son if he could is right in line with his character.

I’m sure her prenup requires her to stay married until after the election, but there may not be much left by then. And if the Trump Org is barred from doing business in New York and loses a lot of its assets, Junior and Eric will take what they can before she has a chance of getting a penny. Not a nice family.

I'd wager she's negotiating the terms of her staying with him.

Still, one can't help but think that in the background is the possibility of her being unsafe no matter where she goes, even with secret security protection, were she to leave him.

The RNC is paying his legal bills, if I'm not mistaken.
As far as any damages, etc., Trump has absconded with hundreds of millions (if not more) of his cult's "donations", I'm sure.
There will be (or should be) more investigations into Trump's handling of the untold millions (possibly over a billion) of dollars in donations from his cult.
Trump will be engaged in litigation against him until the day he dies, and I truly believe that's one of his "strategies" to beat the charges against him. He learned all he knows from mob lawyer Roy Cohn, after all.
