Please confirm this is true: The Court can seize the $83.3M without The Defendant's consent.

Ari Melber said this on Ari Melber Weekend, which may well be a rerun of his Friday show.

1. I suspect they can if Trump doesn't pay. Problem is does he have anything without liens

or enough to cover fines and fees from other indictments.

Truthfully, I’d like to see Carroll offer him a deal, he pays say $10 M plus attorney fees and agrees to drop out of politics forever.

Of course, 1 M MAGAts could send him $83.30.

That money would have to be reported to the FEC as contributions to the campaign or used for paying Legal fees. NOT Jury settlements, such as in the E. Jean Carroll case.

2. Well, he said he's going to appeal, so he will have to post what is called a supersedeas bond to secure the appeal.

If he loses the appeal, she can collect on the bond.

If he doesn’t appeal, there are legal mechanisms she can use to attempt to collect the judgment — garnishment, levy etc. The Court will not initiate those actions, but would be there to condemn the amounts received.

The Court would also likely be involved in attempts to pierce the corporate veil, because it’s unlike Trump has much in his own name.

7. The bond price should be 10% of bond amount but no one will issue bond without security

TFG had to put cash into the registry of the court in lieu of a bond to appeal the first judgment. I suspect that TFG will have to do the same this time because he has few assets that are not pledged to cover over loans

8. Unless a supersedes bond is in place, E.J. Carroll can start foreclosing on TFG's assets after 15 days

11. The bond will be paid. It's really his only choice.

And for the people who think there's no money...

His stake in DWAC is over 700m as of today... he can get a loan on a small portion of his stake EASY, just like all the billionaires do and avoid taxes.

Remember when you said DWAC would be liquidated by now, Goth? And the merger will be closed this year, too.

This makes me laugh.

Just another loan. Just another promise to be paid by the next loan backed by the next promise.

The question remains when will the music stop and who will be left out.

10. He's going to post bond and drag it out as long as he can with appeals.
