but I imagine she must be emotionally and physically exhausted. She just very publicly endured a spotlight that prevents many rape survivors from ever confronting their rapist. And she did it for just reasons.

I'd hope she'd smoke a celebratory joint and simply enjoy the catharsis of it all for a day or two at least.

After hearing Rachel Maddow's description of her long career, I think what was seen was coming from her quirky sense of humor, that likely was carefully controlled over the course of the trials.

Wickedly funny, eloquent, elegant, quite naughty, sometimes nasty. She is really one of a kind, and the temporary dimming of her spirit after her experience was very sad.

But she's indomitable. Tough as nails and twice as sharp. She's a grande dame.
