They could have done it since the first E. Jean Carroll verdict

I did look a few months ago, and couldn't find any poll that asked about it. That was one reason I felt the USA was treating it like the elephant in the room - not to be talked about, because it was so shameful that Republicans still supported a rapist. This time, there is a bit more openness and facing up to it. While I don't think Republicans can feel shame any more, I think independents could be influenced by regular reminders that Trump is a rapist.
