During a Monday, January 29 interview with MSNBC's Jen Psaki, conservative lawyer George Conway explained what could possibly derail Trump from his pursuit of the presidency.
"[Writer E. Jean Carroll lawyer] Robbie Kaplan clearly got under his skin," Psaki noted, asking Conway, "What do you think that should tell us about trump and how to kind of run against Trump, what is going to bother trump, et cetera?"
Conway continued, "He knows he doesn't want to be exposed. And if you attack him on the things that he feels sensitive about, with the truth, he melts. And exactly as you say, he is a bully, but he is a weak man. You know, he puts up this strong man act at the trial in front of the jury. He didn't actually show up for the first trial, where he could have been cross-examined about what happened in that department store, because he's scared."

(5,250 posts)When the Trump Org fines and penalties are added to the $83M to E. Jean and they start digging into his true assets, liabilities and available cash to pay them, he'll be revealed as not nearly as wealthy as he brags about. Being a tycoon is his whole identity and he'll be devastated when the world knows he's not even close.

I continue to suspect Vlad already has a piece of him.
He's probably going to be financially cornered and desperate.
It goes right back to Sally Yates' concerns.
He's compromised and very vulnerable to outside parties taking control of him.
His circumstances should be disqualifying (beyond the rape, fraud, 91 indictments, etc)

They might even release all of their kompromat at once, as a warning to their other shills not to fuck with them.

(8,289 posts)Is that you can handle debt. You can have millions tied up in real estate or other liquid assets and still be cash poor. Alternatively, you can have a credit card that you pay in full, and no other debt, and have a sterling credit rating.
And no, I don't think that Former President Stinky has nearly as much money as he claims. I look forward to seeing the truth exposed after the Trump Organization has to start liquidating assets. I CAN handle the truth!

For his House of cards are all JOKERS.

(2,937 posts)The gibberish, the tangent rants, the confusion, he's a man who has lost his footing. We are learning more about him every day than he ever wanted us to. We need to keep this up.

(12,716 posts)Hitler, and Mussolini were silly little men who deserved to be ridiculed. Instead, rich bankers supported and protected them to make more money.
Seems the shine is off the Trump apple though. Some oligarchs are not too happy with him. But they love the wealth giveaway he provides them.

(55,421 posts)She told us about Trump, warned voters. She disapproved in debates with him, and won them. She told us about policies. But she could not get under his skin and pick a fight with him directly like a male candidate could, and it's still telling that basically he's destroyed himself as much as democrats have worked on him. And we - everyone - didn't know as much about narcissists and him in particular back then. Now we know to attack his ego, to diminish him, to needle him. His responses are predictable.

(11,203 posts)There has to be external pressure to continue the carnival barking act of campaigning. Otherwise why not live what years he has left living as extravagantly as his true assets allow. Yeah, he is far from a billionaire and has few, if any, non bought friends, but I would think spending the rest of his life eating fast food and playing golf on his own well known courses would be more rewarding if not for him being a narcissist that thrives off public attention.
Pardoning himself for past crimes is part of why he is actually running again, but I also think he owes favors to those much more powerful than himself.
