Personal opinion re: magats and Taylor.

From reading all the traffic about this over the last few days, my impression is that the magats who are pissed are basically just jealous. She is attractive, rich, popular, and smart, so they want her in their corner. Just like little kids in the schoolyard, when someone like that doesn't want to play with them, they get pissed, start calling her names, and start making up bullshit about her.

Some of these magats are like little kids who never left the schoolyard in their minds because that's the only place they feel safe and at home. They're big fish. I wouldnt call them morons (even though that scene in Blazing Saddles comes to mind); I would refer to them as immature, arrogant, and willfully ignorant. Really really sad.

Sean Hanity's comments? That prick would sell his own grandmother for a buck. "And if you call now, I'll include my mother, my aunt, and my kids. And I'll even send you a set of Ginsu knives."

8. I have been listening to her earliest albums lately.

The songs actually don't seem very "country" to me, at least compared to the dreadful stuff on the hillbilly stations around here. More like lengthy, thoughtful essays about her life. To me, her later work is more focused and more fun to listen to.

12. You are, of course, exactly right about her "country" roots.

She was played on country radio stations (the ones that allow women artists to be heard), she won lots of country music awards, etc., etc.

All I am saying is that when I listen to, say, Speak Now (her third album of ten), which I have done many times, I do not hear what I call "country music". (If I did, I wouldn't play it!)

The song you posted is from her very first album, which I haven't gotten around to yet. Perhaps I will find some of that annoying "country music" there. I'll check it out this week.

Candace Owens goes after her for some reason, she performs her song Willow in a cloak, so the Christian Right day she is a witch. And They have realised some of her song have adult lyrics, because she is no longer 16 or a country singer.
They can't say Taylor Swift is product of Hollywood as she lives in New York, Nashville or Rhodes Island.
