Breaking : King Charles has been diagnosed with Cancer.

BREAKING: King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer that was found during prostate surgery, Buckingham Palace says.

The palace did not specify what form of cancer was diagnosed or at what stage it was found.

1. Wow. He lived his entire life living/waiting to be King and a year after the Queen's death, this...

I don't mean to write him off as many forms and stages of prostate cancer are highly treatable. It just seems a cruel irony.

No matter how one feels about royalty or Charles personally, I do wish him the best.

"During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer."

'Buckingham Palace did not specify what form of cancer was diagnosed or at what stage it was found.'

7. Not too long ago 1/4 of men over 70 died with some stage of prostrate cancer

My father was diagnosed with metastasized prostrate cancer into his spine at 72 and he endured to 83.

QE2 and her husband lived much longer than most of us will. And Charles might not. That's the variability involved.

But, the monarchy seems secure and unthreatened.

But always felt his reign would be short...he has aged a lot since he became King...His mother had cancer too...in her last year....It may explain why Catherine is talking about putting her family first, because they have to prepare..
