MAGA-GOP just wants to tear US government down — they don’t want to govern.

All their ideas of a replacement involve sheer patronage, which is a guarantee of mediocrity. US Civil Service hiring is based on a merit system, not on who you personally know. The Secret Service, FBI, and military are also based on merit, not on a personal allegiance to Fearless Leader El Caudillo del Mar A Lago.

All members of these categories of public service take an oath to defend the US Constitution, first and foremost.

If the average American bonehead is dissatisfied with this or that section of the permanent bureaucracy/deep state, they will not like the alternative at all — altho I would bet that they wouldn’t recognize that this is what they asked for in supporting Trump/Putin.
